Hybrid lubricant mixes a water base with a small amount of silicone. The result is usually creamy or milky, lasts longer than a pure water-based lube and still washes off easily. It is generally condom-safe. Because it contains some silicone, test it on a small area of a silicone toy before using the two together.
Why it matters when buying
Hybrids aim for the best of both: the long glide of silicone and the easy clean-up of water-based lube. They suit long sessions and hand play, but they are less common and usually cost more.
