- Pack toys in checked luggage or hand luggage with the travel lock on, or the batteries out. Our guide to travelling with sex toys covers airport security and international trips.
- Rules differ abroad, and a few countries restrict adult products. Check your destination before you pack.
- Use the “do not disturb” sign, and keep products in your own bag rather than on the bedside table when housekeeping comes in.
- Hotel walls can be thin. A quiet toy and some music help.

Talk before you pack
A honeymoon carries a lot of expectation, from family, from films and from each other. A short, honest conversation before you go takes most of that weight away. Agree that either of you can say “not tonight” without a reason, and that it is fine if the trip is mostly about sleep, food and sightseeing.
