Updated

That spread is wide because “vibrator” covers everything from a battery bullet to an app-controlled air-pulse toy. For every other kind of toy, see our overall guide to sex toy prices in India; if you are still choosing a type, start with types of vibrators.

What drives the price of a vibrator

  • Material. Body-safe silicone costs more than ABS plastic or TPE, and it is the material worth paying for on anything you use internally.
  • Motor. A deeper, “rumbly” motor and more patterns add cost. Air-pulse and suction toys use a different mechanism and sit higher.
  • Power. USB-rechargeable toys cost more than battery ones but save on cells and usually run quieter.
  • Waterproofing. A sealed IPX7 body that can be rinsed under the tap or used in the shower adds a few hundred rupees.
  • App or remote. Bluetooth chips, apps and long-distance play push a toy into the higher bands.
  • Brand and warranty. Well-known makers charge more, and in return usually state the material and offer a warranty. We list what the maker states and nothing more.

What you get at each budget

Under ₹1,000

At the time of writing there are 8 vibrators under ₹1,000, mostly bullets, small eggs and simple battery vibes. This is the right place to find out what you like before spending more. Expect fewer patterns, a buzzier feel and, often, batteries.

₹1,000 to ₹2,499

9 toys sit here, with a typical price around ₹1,800. You start to get silicone bodies, rechargeable batteries, remote-control eggs and the first G-spot and rabbit shapes. Our best vibrators under ₹2,000 collection covers this range in detail.

₹2,500 to ₹4,999

The biggest band today, with 17 toys and a typical price around ₹3,400. This is where air-pulse toys, quiet rechargeable motors, waterproof bodies and app control become standard, and where most people find their long-term favourite.

₹5,000 and over

5 premium toys, from ₹5,299. You pay for well-known makers, stronger motors, extra features and longer warranties. Worth it once you know exactly what you enjoy, not as a first toy.

When a cheap vibrator is a bad idea

  • When the material is not stated. If the listing does not say silicone, ABS or glass, assume the worst and skip it, especially for internal use.
  • When it smells strongly of chemicals out of the box. That is a sign of soft, porous plastics.
  • When you will use it in the shower but it is only “splash-proof”.
  • When it is a copy of a famous toy at a fraction of the price. Fakes rarely state their material honestly.

A low price is fine for a first bullet or a travel toy. For something you will use every week, the middle bands buy better materials and quieter motors. Our rechargeable vibrators collection is a good next step.
